I am trying to use this with Windows 10 Pro but it doesn't seem to be working. Is it incompatible?

Thanks for your suggestion.

You're the man! Thanks, will give it a try now, although I uninstalled WSUS roles on my server because I gave up hope! Will let you know how I get on.

After downloading and running the new version I have managed to get WSUS to pick up my Windows 10 client, but it registers it as Windows Vista? Any workaround for this?

Also do I need to change any Windows update settings in Windows 10 for it to work correctly? I noticed it now says 'some settings are managed by your organisation' which is good..

Thanks so much for your help!!

Hi Danny,

that is a known issue of the current WSUS Server.

See here:

It's still working, you can fix it with an update of your WSUS database.
Otherwise just wait for an update from Microsoft.

Maybe a fix:
UPDATE [SUSDB].[dbo].[tbComputerTargetDetail] SET [OSDescription] = 'Windows 10' WHERE [OSMajorVersion] = '10' AND [OSMinorVersion] = '0' AND [OldProductType] <> '1' AND ([OSDescription] <> 'Windows 10' or [OSDescription] IS NULL)
